The South Davis PTO is excited to welcome everyone to a new school year! While past few years have represented a time of tremendous change, new challenges, and  growth for our children, we are so fortunate at South Davis to have a dedicated, caring, and knowledgeable administration and staff to help guide our students.

For the 2024-2025 school year, we look forward to working with Mr. Dolce, the staff, and our families in support of South Davis Elementary School students. Whether you donate your time, your services, your skills, or your spirit…YOU will be the reason we are successful for our children!  

While fundraising is an important part of what we do, our parent group is much more than just asking for money! We are about families working together toward a common goal: helping to build a better school and a better educational experience for our children. We strive to foster an atmosphere where teachers, administrators, and support staff can do their best work - and so can our children.

The South Davis PTO works to support the school by providing fun social events that are designed to bring our families together. This year we are looking forward to hosting several events including  Halloween Trunk or Treat, Family Fun Night, Science Night and many more. We also work with the school faculty to provide funding for in school events including author visits, Mr. Morton’s Animal Visits, 5^th Grade Moving Up and end of the year celebrations.

We cannot do this alone so please join us and become a member of the South Davis PTO. A yearly membership is $5 per family and the membership fee (plus any additional donation) is used to help fund our mission. Members receive important communications about PTO and school events and have access to the PTO membership directory. Although not required for active membership, we welcome and encourage our members to attend our monthly PTO meetings and participate in decision making, along with volunteering for PTO events when possible.

As the South Davis PTO board, we will do our very best to make this year rewarding and memorable for everyone and especially for the children of South Davis. We are looking forward to a wonderful year as parents, staff and students work together to make South Davis the best it can be!
